Lunch at The Boat (El Barco), west of Torre del Mar. Fish soup,
salad, steak & chips and a bottle of tinto. Bliss.

Hostal Esperanza at Benajaraf proved a lucky find for my last two nights - and
only a two hour
ride to the airport (for an afternoon flight)

End of ride statistics

Total miles about 465m
Longest day 90 miles
shortest day - don't ask!
Typical cost of single room £12/night

Rain ? One morning - but I stayed in bed until it dried-up!

I can highly recommend this linear tour
and will certainly make the same journey
again - but via different overnight stops for variety.

Removed campag record gear for safety - then gave
everything a good polish with oldest underwear before
discarding in a bin! (It all saves weight y'know!).

Always a worrying time for me ... and
probably a bit of a shock to the bloke
at the other end as well!

Groundstaff at Malaga admire
my Dursley Pedersen.

I was able to watch groundstaff at Malaga loading my Pedersen onto the easyJet 'plane. And they were very careful. Thanks.

But next time chaps, don't let all the air out of the tyres - particularly if you then get on the bike!

It is normal to let air out of tyres before flights in unpressurised cargo holds, but letting it all out leads to damage to tyres and rims (that's why I left a little air in and covered the valves with sticky tape to discourage further tampering).
